1972

Denis Dalcq created DALCQ Plc and proposed the first semi-professional cool zone oil fryer for consumers.

Launch of the first Magimix robot to the general public

1984

First patented egg whisk in a multifunctional food processor

1989

First patented multi-bowl robot that allows preparation in succession

1997

Dalcq Plc strengthens its Belgian expert position by acquiring, through the company Nova Electro International, another Belgian specialty: the iconic waffle maker which crossed generations since 1958.

1999

Robot Mini, 50% more compact, motor always with 30-year guarantee

2005

The brands Astoria, Riviera & Bar and Siméo join the COGIA group, specialized in household equipment. At the time, this group is a subsidiary of the SUPERBA group (specialized in industrial equipment). All together a single Alsatian family group.

2008

The brands Astoria and Riviera-et-Bar, dedicated to specialized distribution, are grouped under the entity ARB. The brand Siméo, dedicated to mass distribution, joins the company ELECTROPEM. That same year, launch of the range of Astoria Confort heating fabrics which includes mattress toppers, blankets, plaids, pillows and footwarmers. 

2009

Launch of the 1st Riviera & Bar kettle with adjustable temperature, a non-existent market in France at the time. Two years later, Riviera & Bar keeps innovating with the 1st automatic tea maker. Riviera-et-Bar soon becomes leader of these two categories.

2010

Toaster Vision, the first toaster that allows you to see your bread toasting, Innovation Award 2010.

2011

Mr. Dalcq sells his company and new shareholders take over: Sébastien Frederich and Gautier Rouyer. The 2 men decide to complete and diversify the product offering. They develop a second activity: the distribution of international brands of high-end electrical household appliances.

Launch of the Blender for vitamin-rich preparations in an instant.

2014

The DALCQ company acquires the Dejelin brand and commercializes the steam cooker on a larger scale by making it a point of honor that the steam cookers are always produced from A to Z in Orp-Jauche, in Belgium,  under supervision of its creator, Jean-Marie Jenicot.

2015

Jana Courat founds Cuisidis. From the outset, the company has marketed leading brands in small electrical appliances in France: Frifri, Dejelin, Caso, Graef and Blendtec. At the end of the year, Cuisidis added the Nivona brand to its range.

Cook Expert, both a robot and a cooking appliance, the first appliance to combine induction cooking with all the functions for preparing meals.

2016

The Dalcq factory moves to Courcelles, in Hainaut. A new Belgian product joins the Frifri family: La Chocolatière. The chocolate tempering appliance for household use, is also 100% produced in Belgium, and was designed in partnership with the master chocolatier Laurent Gerbaud.

Launch of the Juice Expert range, multifunctional juicers

2019

Cuisidis expands its range by adding the ADE brand to its catalog.

2000

Smart Connect connects Cook Expert to the Magimix app with a database of 3,000 guided recipes

2021

A change of shareholding takes place. The company grows and today has about twenty employees.

Riviera & Bar launches its 1st range of stainless steel planchas, manufactured in France!

2022

NOUVEL joins the range. 11 international brands are now part of the Cuisidis portfolio, making it a key importer on the French market.

2022

Founding of LAVAFIELDS, result of the union between Dalcq and the French company ARB

2023

LAVAFIELDS acquires the French distribution company of household appliances CUISIDIS, well known within the teams, since, until then, CUISIDIS distributed the Frifri brand in France.
